Chris Pink
I started painting very early on and gained a distinction grade in Art
and Design at Long Road Sixth Form College. After training as an apprentice
stonemason for several years I moved to The Darryl Nantais Gallery in
Linton, starting to concentrate more on my watercolour painting. During
this time I had several successful shows - while learning the art of
picture framing at the Gallery.
Whilst no longer working at the gallery I continue as a full time framer
and have more recently been working with oils alongside my watercolour
paintings.
My favourite subjects to paint include; oil portraits, lavish watercolours
and work using lots of purple and blue tones.
